We are now hiring an entry-level roaster!
We’re looking for an Entry Level Coffee Roaster to join the team at our roastery in Moonah. We are a flavour-driven Specialty Coffee Roastery with a straight-up approach – built on honesty, transparency, and respect. The successful applicant will receive training and mentorship from our Head Roaster and will perform a range of tasks with our Production team. Duties – including but not limited to
- High quality roasting and blending specialty coffee
- Operating coffee roasting equipment
- Roasting and production support to adequately fulfilling coffee orders
- Packing of coffee/fulfilling of orders and other tasks as required to meet production requirments
- Delivering coffee orders and products
- Assist with placing/receiving product orders
- Utilising software for roasting, scheduling and order management
- Organise, maintain and rotation of green stock
- Maintaining roasting equipment to a stricy cleaning and maintainance scheduale
- Working in a team as well as independently
- Cleaning and packing down at end of day
- Reporting to management
- Coffee cupping and weekly QA checks with our Head Roaster
- Traveling to wholesale customers as required
- Maintaining wholesale and our machinery and equipment
- Build customer relations and providing customer support
Potential Hours and Availablities
Our production team operates Monday – Friday.
For this role we are offering a casual position, with long-term, full-time potential.
Requirements
Must hold a Drivers Licence. No previous roasting experiance nessesary.
